Pursuant to O.C.G.A. §12-8-32, Brantley County announces the completion of the Facility Issues Negotiation Process in strict accordance with the rules set forth therein. Five (5) meetings were conducted and completed as required within the 45-day period required by the statute on October 5th, 2020, October 17th, 2020, October 24th, 2020, November 8th, 2020 and November 12th, 2020.

The meetings among and between the Citizens Facility Issues Committee, the representatives of the Brantley County Board of Commissioners, and the permit applicant Brantley County Development Partners have resulted in a failure to reach consensus on any issue or issues taken up at said meetings.

Accordingly, please take notice that on the 16th day of January, 2021, the Brantley County Board of Commissioners will hold a public meeting for the purpose of accepting input of interested persons not represented by the Citizens Facility Issues Committee. The selected meeting site is at the Brantley County Board of Education Facility on 272 School St. #5404, Nahunta, GA 31553 and will commence at 1 o’clock p.m. Participation will also be possible via Zoom, a free web conferencing platform.
