To the Citizens of Brantley County, City of Hoboken, and the City of Nahunta

In accordance with Georgia’s Solid Waste Management Act, O.C.G.A. § 12-8-20 et seq., and Open Meetings Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-14-1, notice is hereby given that two public hearings are scheduled to be held by the Brantley County Commissioners on August 19th and 24th, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Brantley County Administrative Office Building, located at 33 Allen Rd., Nahunta, Georgia. Attendance via Zoom, a free web conferencing platform, will also be available. To ensure that you are ready to participate when the hearing begins, we recommend that you download Zoom in advance. The purpose of the hearings is to review amendments to the Joint Solid Waste Management Plan of Brantley County, the City of Hoboken, and the City of Nahunta. Representatives from the County Cities will be present. A copy of the draft Solid Waste Management Plan is available to the public for review at the address below.

All persons are invited to attend. In advance of the public hearing, the agenda will be posted at 33 Allen Rd. and is available upon request to the Brantley County Commissioner’s Office at (912) 462-5256.
